Product Introduction
Products Description

Tin bronze, a copper alloy consisting of a precise combination of copper and tin, is widely utilized across various industries owing to its exceptional physical and chemical characteristics. Renowned for its remarkable strength, superior ability to resist corrosion, stability under elevated temperatures, and biocompatibility, this type of copper alloy finds extensive application in numerous sectors.

There are a variety of tin bronze wires to choose from, but two common options are 0.3% and 0.6% tin bronze wire. The 0.3% tin bronze wire is made up of 0.3% Sn and the rest Cu, and has an IACS of at least 75% and a tensile strength of 530 or higher. This wire is often used in medical applications as a special core wire due to its ability to resist tension and bending. Its minimum elongation is φ≥0.05mm.

The 0.6% tin bronze wire is predominantly composed of copper, with 0.6% tin for enhanced properties. This wire boasts an impressive IACS rating of at least 75%, indicating excellent electrical conductivity. It also has a strong tensile strength, measuring at least 530 units. Furthermore, this wire has a minimum elongation of φ≥0.08mm, making it ideal for specialized applications. Notably, it can serve as a substitute for cadmium copper wire and is commonly used to produce copper foil wire for audio equipment.

CW117C is a type of low tin bronze alloy that is known for its outstanding properties, such as its higher softening temperature compared to pure copper. This alloy contains CuSn0.15 according to the German standards, C14415 in American standards, and C14410 in Japanese standards. Its durability is evident through its excellent creep, stress relaxation, and fatigue resistance.
This type of alloy is highly favored in industries that require high-temperature electronic components, connector PINs, automotive fuse boxes, and lead frames. Due to its exceptional durability and resistance to wear and tear, this alloy is often preferred over other copper alloys.
Overall, CW117C is a reliable material that provides superior performance in harsh environments. Its high resistance to damage and fatigue makes it a top choice for various applications that require high-quality materials that can handle extreme conditions.

With its superior properties of high strength, excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, high temperature stability, and biocompatibility, tin bronze has found widespread application in a range of fields including power, control, telecommunications, and special cables. In particular, these cables play a crucial role in industries such as transportation, construction, power, aviation, medicine, and shipping. As a result, tin bronze has become an essential component in the development of advanced technology and infrastructure, powering our modern society.

Tin bronze is an incredibly important material in modern industries, thanks to its unique properties and versatility. With a range of grades and forms available, this material is used in a vast array of different fields, with each type of tin bronze offering its own unique advantages. By selecting the correct type of tin bronze for a particular application, individuals can benefit from enhanced efficiency and quality across a wide range of uses. Ultimately, the versatility and effectiveness of tin bronze make it an invaluable material within the modern industrial world.
